Dr. Shahvir Nooryezdan has completed his Post Graduation with a Master’s Degree in Restorative Dentistry from the University of Sheffield, UK.He underwent advanced training in Oral Implantology at various centres in Germany and has maintained an exclusive Restorative & Implantology practice in Mumbai since 1993. He is the Founder President of the Indian Academy of Osseointegration. He is also a Diplomate of the ICOI (USA). He is a founding member of the Asian Academy of Osseointegration and has been examiner at the Australian Society of Implant dentistry accreditation program.

Dr. Shahvir gained widespread international recognition and has been an invited keynote speaker at European Association for Osseointegration, Quintessence International and several other leading dental congresses around the world. He has been on the Editorial Review board of the International Congress of Oral Implantology journal – Implant Dentistry and a member of the ICOI credentialing committee. As a successful entrepreneur, he established his own Dental Implant Company – Equinox Medical Technologies that was acquired by Straumann AG the world leader in the space at the end of 2016. He served as the CEO of Straumann India from 2017 to 2018 and continued as Chairman of Straumann India from 2018 to 2020. He is since then been involved in several opportunities in the Healthcare space
