Karkinos Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. is coming up with Comprehensive Cancer Hospitals/Centers at the following locations – Jalna , Salem, Puducherry,  Coimbatore,  Bhopal,  Alwar.

Job Purpose/Objective:

To treat patients with cancer, in particular involving the use of radiotherapy, as one area of their cancer treatment.

Key Deliverables:

• Responsible for monitoring the patient and organizing imaging and other tests, in order to create and action a management plan for a patient.
• To work closely with other medical specialists, especially surgeons, medical oncologists and palliative care physicians, as part of a team caring for patients with cancer.
• Also work closely with radiation oncology medical physicists and radiation therapists to plan and deliver radiotherapy.
• To communicate with patients, their family members and other careers in the management of the patient’s cancer and overall care
• Formulating & modifying (when necessary) infection control policies.
• Determining and setting the most suitable amount of radiation (from high energy X-rays, electron beams or gamma rays) to deliver to a patient and the way that this will be carried out.
• Should handle Out Patients & Inpatient, Outreach camps.

Job Purpose/Objective:

To provide diagnosis, treatment, assess and the management of patients with cancer.

Key Deliverables:

• Analyze patient's medical history, medication allergies, physical condition, and examination results to verify operation's necessity and to determine best procedure.
• Examine patient to obtain information on medical condition and surgical risk.
• Refer patient to medical specialist or other practitioners when necessary.
• Prepare case histories.
• Provide consultation and surgical assistance to other physicians and surgeons.
• Operate on patients to correct deformities, repair injuries, prevent and treat diseases, or improve or restore patients' functions.
• Follow established surgical techniques during the operation.
• Prescribe preoperative and postoperative treatments and procedures, such as sedatives, diets, antibiotics, and preparation and treatment of the patient's operative area.
• Diagnose bodily disorders and orthopedic conditions and provide treatments, such as medicines and surgeries, in clinics, hospital wards, and operating rooms.
• Examine instruments, equipment, and operating room to ensure sterility.
• Manage surgery services, including planning, scheduling and coordination, determination of procedures, and procurement of supplies and equipment.
• Direct and coordinate activities of nurses, assistants, specialists, residents, and other medical staff.

Job Purpose/Objective:

To be responsible for the care and comfort of our patients before, during, and immediately after medical and surgical procedures.

Key Deliverables (top 5 to 6):

• Meeting with patients before medical procedures to discuss their medical history and lifestyle.
• Assessing patients' conditions through analysis of medical history.
• Explaining to patients the surgical process.
• Administering anesthesia and monitoring patient vital signs during medical and surgical procedures, and making appropriate adjustments in anesthesia to ensure patient comfort.
• Monitoring patient vital signs and pain management after surgical and medical procedures to ensure patient comfort.
• Maintaining patient records relating to their procedures and the type and amounts of medications given.

Job Purpose/Objective:

To provide diagnosis, treatment, assess and the management of patients with cancer.

Key Deliverables (top 5 to 6):

• Test dosage evaluation instruments and survey meters to ensure they are operating properly.
• Teach nuclear medicine, diagnostic radiology, or other specialties at graduate educational level
• Schedule examinations and staff activities
• Provide advice on the selection of nuclear medicine supplies or equipment
• Interpret imaging data and confer with other medical specialists to formulate diagnoses.
• Monitor handling of radioactive materials to ensure that established procedures are followed.
• Formulate plans and procedures for nuclear medicine departments.
• Direct the safe management and disposal of radioactive substance
• Conduct laboratory procedures, such as radioimmunoassay studies of blood or urine, using radionuclide
• Establish and enforce radiation protection standards for patients and staff.
• Advise other physicians of the clinical indications, limitations, assessments, or risks of diagnostic and therapeutic applications of radioactive materials.
• Review procedure requests and patients' medical histories to determine applicability of procedures and radioisotopes to be used.
• Prescribe radionuclide and dosages to be administered to individual patients.
• Prepare comprehensive interpretive reports of findings.
• Perform cardiovascular nuclear medicine procedures such as exercise testing and pharmacologic stress testing.
• Monitor quality control of radionuclide preparation, administration, or disposition ensuring that activities comply with applicable regulations and standards.
• Direct nuclear medicine technologists or technicians regarding desired dosages, techniques, positions, and projections.
• Interview and physically examine patients prior to testing.
• Determine appropriate tests or protocols based on patients' needs or conditions.
• Compare nuclear medicine procedures with other types of procedures such as computed tomography, ultrasonography, nuclear magnetic resonance imaging, and angiography.
• Consult with patients following radiation treatments to provide information and assess outcomes or to recommend further consultation or treatments as appropriate.
• Calculate, measure, or prepare radioisotope dosages.
• Check and approve the quality of diagnostic images before patients are discharged.

Job Purpose/Objective:

To be carried out procedure such as X-rays, CT scans, ultrasounds, and MRIs and successfully execute and interpret the medical images in order to aid the diagnostic and treatment process.

Key Deliverables (top 5 to 6):

• Evaluating patients’ medical histories to ensure the various medical imaging procedures will not harm them.
• Suggesting alternative medical imaging techniques, when necessary.
• Informing patients about the medical imaging process.
• Using devices such as computer tomography (CT) scanners and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) machines.
• Performing or directing radiology staff to carry out image-guided, diagnostic procedures.
• Working with radiology lab technicians to perfect image quality.
• Interpreting the results from diagnostic imaging procedures to determine diagnoses.
• Communicating and discussing results and diagnoses with physicians.
• Compiling written reports of results and diagnoses.
• Following medical protocols for resuscitation, bleeding, infection, or other emergency situations, when necessary.
