Biju Samkutty
Biju Samkutty is the chief operating officer for Mayo Clinic’s international endeavors. In partnership with international president Dr. Anton Decker, Biju leads Mayo Clinic’s global efforts, from international patients seen domestically to new collaborations and entities across the world, including responsibility for Mayo’s fully owned clinic in London and joint venture in Abu Dhabi.
Before joining Mayo Clinic in 2021, Biju served as the chief operating officer for McKesson Corporation’s clinical service businesses, where he was instrumental in growing revenues annually by over 30% during his three-year tenure. While at McKesson, he also served as the senior vice president of McKesson’s Program Office – responsible for mergers, acquisitions and integration efforts – and the senior vice president for Global Brand Pharmaceuticals, where he was responsible for over $140B in drug procurement and development of unique biopharma services. Biju also served as the vice president of Generics National Accounts, helping to drive significant growth strategies and create long-term relationships with some of McKesson’s largest distribution customers, including CVS, Walmart, Rite Aid, and supported the development and growth of McKesson NorthStar Generics organization
